Pure Cashmere Water Resistant Raincoat

Beautiful material in a classic style. My husband couldn't believe how lightweight it was! We went up a size so that it would fit comfortably over his suit; as a result, the sleeves had to be shortened by 3", but even our local tailoress enthused over the quality of the cashmere. The only other problem was the mismatched outside buttons: one plain black plastic, the other 3 engrained with light brown smears. Not a huge problem, since they're all concealed by a generous placket, but I would have expected better quality buttons for the price. Also, the only spare button enclosed was for the smaller inside buttons, not the larger outside ones, despite the plastic packet labelled 'Buttons' (M&S kindly sent me £10 to cover the cost of future spares!) We now await some serious rain in order to test the coat's water-resistant properties!
