Nice looking jacket but generous on size
No, I don't recommend this
Read reviews before buying this jacket so based on that I bought size medium rather than large. But even the medium is on the big side for me, but kept the jacket with intentions of wearing a gilet underneath in wet conditions during winter.

Sizing very small otherwise good quality anorak
No, I don't recommend this
This is a really good quality waterproof jacket, packable despite the fabric being thicker and better quality than most similar jackets, sturdy zips and well finished. However, the sizing is an issue. I ordered a size small for my husband as he is 163cm in height and slimly build, with measuements well within the range on the Columbia size chart. The sleeves and back are ideal but it was impossible to zip up the jacket at the front. Even over a thin polo shirt, there was a large gap. The measured dimensions of the jacket cirumference are 40" at its widest point, with no allowance for underarms or to put anything in the pockets. Ordered online so needs to be returned and the next size up ordered, which I hope is the same slim cut as if it's more generous, it will be much too big!

Great service and quality.
Yes, I recommend this
Lightweight and waterproof. Ideal for packing in a rucksack. The product description online said navy but the picture showed a dark teal colour, which I wanted, and what it turned out to be. A bit confusing but I do like it. Online purchase via M&S was easy and it arrived in store early. Excellent service.

Great value. I like the useful front chest zippered pocket. The mesh lining is a plus. It’s great for general use as opposed to technical use (climbing or running) as it’s a little heavier than other high-end brand jackets.

Have it for around two months and really like how it fits and feel. It fits kind of slim and looks really good. No problem with waterproofness, although did not get any storm yet. Cons: zip fastener is too small. Not easy to zip up at any situations, specially difficult at night.

Had my jacket a few months now and have worn it in many weather conditions. Overall it does perform well however 3 disappointing problems have been noticed. The first is condensation on the sleeve cuffs occurs if you close the storm cuffs tight on the wrist. This is because the ventilation mesh fabric stops about 6 inches from the sleeve end. The second is the cheap and tiny zip fastener. Very difficult to do the zip up in highwinds or at night its just too small. The third thing is the pockets are mesh lined so if you put keys in them they get caught and cause holes in the pockets. Simple things that cheaper jackets get right
