Portland 3 Cup Cafetiere

Easy to use, makes one good “normal” size cup of coffee which is perfect for me as the only coffee drinker in the house. I agree the glass is thin but we’ve had no problems so far.

I bought this as a gift for my coffee mad husband to replace the manky one he had! Looks stylish and is easier to clean so was a success.

3 Cup is a misnomer as it depends on how big a cup/mug one uses for a coffee. For an espresso it's accurate. But it makes barely enough coffee for 'standard' mug which depends on how strong one makes the brew. Concerned about the glass handle as there is a warning about the possibility of it getting too hot to handle. It's easy to clean and greatly benefits from not having a metal stand/holder from which it's always difficult to remove the glass of other cafetieres.

I have been looking for espresso cups and a new cafetiere for a while to suit my work routine. The ones that I already have are too big. I saw this in one of the M&S advert emails, and coincidently I also found the small espresso cups (Tribeca Espresso Cups in Teal colour) and immediately fell in love with the colour and style. I bought both of them online and they came in good packaging. The sizes are on the small side but I am happy with their elegant style. Looking forward to using them!

No unnecessary bits! Simple to use and wash up. Doesn't fill 3 cups unless you have espresso size. One mug or two teacup and saucers, but I expected this from other reviews. Happy with my purchase!

Bought as a gift excellent quality good price .as I expected from m&s

I returned this item because it was too small. Described as three cup size it didn’t explain what the cup size was. I would suggest it’s actual capacity could be displayed in fluid ounces or millilitres would be more helpful.

I bought this last week, the actual press is fine but the jar is very weak and broke after it fell without much force at all. Ideally would like my money back

Just makes great coffee and looks good. Can't ask for more! :-)

Great size but ground coffee gets up the sides of the filter regardless of how fast or slow we plunge it. So disappointed.
