Pintuck 7/8th Trousers

Purchased a few weeks ago ... so happy with these Looks good, received lots of compliments More colour choices please !!!!!!

A couple of fashion bloggers I follow highlighted these, and to be honest I thought faux leather trousers would be a no go area for me. I’m usually a 14 in M&S but ordered the 16 after reading some reviews, and have to say it was love at first fit. Great length (just above the ankle) and very flattering. I bought the peplum top to match and it looks great. Fab for the party season coming up

These are very good quality and looked lovely in the legs worn slightly short with kitten heels but the pockets and buttons seemed to extend the width of my hips. I didn’t find them flattering enough on me so I reluctantly returned. I bought some lovely M and S real leather trousers last year so don’t know why I bothered with faux leather. Just love shopping and clothes I guess...

It took a while to eventually get these trousers as the were out of stock so often however I kept checking through out the day and they eventually got them. They were worth the wait! I’m 5”2 and a 10 the 10 short are a perfect fit and length. The material is about the best I’ve seen in the faux leather type trouser. Super stylish with either boots or heels. I would buy in another colour if they became available.

Absolutely fabulous pair or trousers. I’m 5’4” size 16, trousers sit just above ankles. Extremely comfortable but look amazingly dressed up with heels or casual with a par of trainers. Please M&S can we have these in chocolate brown... M&S at its best.

These trousers fitted well and the shape was good but they just looked plastic and cheap, so not for me.

I would prefer an extra long length even though cropped is in fashion as its so much harder to style in winter and keep my ankles warm. I'm 5ft 3.5, 29 inch leg. The long version is just above the ankles so I kept this and returned the regular. Some other reviewers have done this also. I'm between sizes so I sized down as pu has a little give. It's a generous fit but not ridiculously so. It has a nice soft velvety coating on the inside that will keep you warm. It's smart enough for the office if I wear heels or neat trainers with my ankles bare. I can see myself using these more in spring. As for commuting in the cold I'm hoping I can tuck my knee high boots inside.

I bought these as a gift for my wife as she has always wanted a pair of leather or imitation leather trousers. She wanted full length rather than the ankle grazer style, so by ordering the long length they fitted the bill perfectly. I'm glad, I have a delighted wife! :-) The click and collect service was excellent, ordered on Friday evening collected Saturday mid day.

I loved these trousers,,,,, unfortunately they didn't love me! Absolutely nothing wrong with them, they just didn't flatter my shape, ( well so I thought) So sadly I returned them. I didn't wash them but you have to reply to leave a review.

Been looking for a leather or faux leather pair of trousers for ages. The leather ones in M&S didn’t fit right so when I saw these I was very excited. On the down side stock has been extremely sporadic...but I guess I shouldn’t be surprised as these are fab. High waisted, with a hook fastener and inside button. Lovely flat front so no extra bulk round the waist. These fit really well round the waist (true size 10) and are just above my ankles in the regular length (I’m 5ft 2ins with a c. 29-30ins inside leg). If I can get them I’d love a short pair. Great with boots/heels and trainers. Go get em ladies.

At 5ft 6ins, and a standard size 12, I would have ordered 12 short and 12 regular to see which were best, but only the 12 regular were available.... All the sizes up to 14 are now unavailable.... I love the trousers - a lovely flat fit at the front and the pockets as fastened are no problem. I do find that they are just a bit long to be cropped and may, like another reviewer, shorten by one inch, but with higher heels, they look fine. I have never worn this faux leather before, but at a quarter of the price of the real leather ones, and looking so good, I have no qualms in looking for another pair, as a continuity. At my age, I like to keep things I love wearing, and do not hold with our current throw away society. Thank you M & S. This is a coup.

These are absolutely fantastic also need them in a tan colour please. Bought the long length normally a regular but wanted the longer look. Can be dressed up or down. Well done M &S.

Bought two sizes. 10 short and 10 Regular. Am 5'2" and used to wear 10 regular jeans until all the sizing was changed and I now buy short. So, the short faux leather trousers were just too short, half way up my shins. The 10 Regular were the right length, just at my ankle bone but in both sizes they were too big across the stomach area where it needs to be flat. I liked the trousers but the pockets were too fussy (with buttons?) and the trousers weren't pliable enough to fit close to the body, they just sort of stood slightly away, maybe they would be better after wearing a few times. They will be going back (sorry Marks) and I may try a size 8 if they become available and that may solve the stomach area problem.

At 5 foot 5.5, I ordered a short length to ensure they were cropped. Even then I have had to leave them in to a dressmaker to have them turned up one hem-width to ensure the proportions worked as they just looked like normal length trousers that had shrunk in the wash otherwise. The pockets are poorly placed too, being right on the side of the hips, creating width where it’s not flattering and, bizarrely, they have been trimmed with brown rather than black buttons to make them over more odd. Again, I have asked for the pockets to be sown up as they are not a good look. If they had been placed on an angle and more towards the front it would have made them far more flattering.
