I got this for my mum's birthday and was really pleased with the decoration when I opened the box. It looked even nicer than the photos suggest. The cake is very sweet due to the buttercream decoration but it was absolutely delicious and was polished off very quickly. The price was a little higher than I'd have liked to pay but I would consider M&S again for future celebrations.

Loved this cake - ordered it for my mum's 70th birthday and it looked stunning and exactly like the picture. Tasted very nice too but was sweet (not a problem as it was a lovely victoria sponge inside). Only thing I was jealous of was that my mum had the giant, white, thick chocolate with her name on (and I wanted it!) Good quality from m&s as always.
