Hopecommentishelpful Great desk - could be better like most of this range, i like it but I do think it’s expensive for what it is. That said, it’s a quandary as I have much of the range. If I could change anything on this particular item, I would change it to a two draw pedestal on one side under which one could put a chair. So beware of that. Other than that, it’s great. Also, be wary of contacting M&S customer services; if you have a complaint, be persistent and don’t let them fob you off. I’ve had an issue since November; as yet unresolved. Am still waiting since May this year for a response to my last email……

Sheila33 Just perfect! Desk is exactly what I was looking for. Lovely pale oak and the design complements the room perfectly. Can’t say anything about the wood being untreated or not so only time will tell on that. Very pleased with purchase.

NinaBee1 Be warned - untreated wood I bought this desk for when my son returns from University. It was left in an empty room with two small ornaments on it. The first time I went to dusty the desk a couple of weeks later, I noticed there were shaded patches where the ornaments had been. Whilst I love the desk, the wood is clearly untreated. I would not recommend this desk to anyone, as even resting a book on it will leave a mark/patch so it is not fit for purpose! I am extremely disappointed that M&S doesn’t have the quality control it once had and I would avoid buying wooden products from here.
