Modern Slim Leg Ponte Trousers

These are sooo comfortable to wear. I am really disappointed my size is now out of stock- I would have bought more.

These trousers were recommended by a friend of mine. I have to say that after years of M & S trousers not fitting me, these were a great fit. I have also been in M&S today and came back with a pair of cropped trousers which also fit really well. Hurrah! My only complaint is that they were only in black. I liked them so much I could have happily bought them in other colours.

Good quality for the money and super fit. Very comfortable.

These are the most versatile trousers I have owned. They look fantastic and they wash and tumble dry and need no ironing. I bought my usual long length but they are exceedingly long and I don't think I am shrinking! However this is a minor quibble. I have recently lost weight so bought another pair in a smaller size and donated the original pair to a friend - they still look like new.

Over recent years I have bought a medium length trouser from M and S, although in the past I have sometimes needed a long. I have always found there is a huge gap in length between the two. Having been recommended these trousers as great for wearing with heels, I purchased my usual medium length. However, to wear as I want would mean taking them up by at least 2inches! Have you got the length measurement right? Looking to order a short length, I notice they are mostly all out of stock.....there is a message here M and S! Love all other aspects of the trousers, though...

Was so pleased with these I immediately ordered a second pair!! They fit really well and the added stretch makes them so comfortable for travelling - and they haven't bagged around the knee at all. They have laundered perfectly and, if the washing instructions are properly adhered to, there is no need for ironing. Great one M&S!

When I first tried these on, I thought they may be a bit tight, however, a few weeks later when I wore them for an evening out, they were perfect. I love the fabric and they are comfortable. My best buy for this winter.

Slim but not tight, slightly thicker firmer material than usual, just right for this colder weather. Keep their shape well. Easy wash, a little longer to dry. This is the second pair I have purchased. Would like them in Navy as well.

Now have 3 pairs of these great trousers. Thicker material which doesn't cling or crease with enough stretch to be super comfortable. Cut to flatter with higher waist. Only drawback was medium is longer than normal so they had to be shortened....no great hassle. A great product so well done M&S.

I had bought these in a 14 a while ago as this is my normal size in trousers, but they were too big so I bought this size in a 12. They are great! I wear them with ankle boots with a heel and they are so comfortable as well as stylish

material quality good but rather thick. waist fitted fine but baggy around the hips and thighs so returned,

I bought these trousers specifically for their winter weight quality of material, which is excellent. I find the size 14, my usual size, just a bit on the big side which I don't mind too much. I had to buy the medium length which I had to take up because the short length was too short. I don't like having to alter a new pair of trousers. I haven't washed them yet so can't comment on that, but if the quality is anything to go by, they will be fine when washed. In spite of my negative comments, I would recommend these trousers. Maybe other purchasers would have no problem with the length (I am 5'4"). All in all, a satisfactory purchase.

This seems to be the new model of the ponte modern slim trousers of last season and is a much improved model, with better, thicker fabric which doesn't stretch and bag so easily. I am a size 12 in these, although was a 14 in the previous model, so they are generously sized. Very comfortable to wear all day but keep their shape

Simply love this trouser - fabric is fairly thick but sits well. Great style - jean like but smart in this black fabric. Can't wait to wear them.
