Lovely moist cake

I picked the cake up at my local M&S shop. It was well packaged with a piece of cardboard surrounding the cake which was set into a square piece of cardboard. Very secure. The cake itself cut well, no crumbling, was moist and not overly sweet. Very good taste. A great cake for my husband's birthday. It was still good a couple of days after cutting. I would buy again.

Bought for my sons birthday. Everybody loved it. Very soft sponge and ganache. Beautiful chocolate flavour. Pretty good value for money but i added extra bits to make it that bit more spectacular.

Bought this as we had heard that M&S cakes were nice, but we so disappointed with this one. It tasted so false and not freshly made at all. Such a shame. The cake tasted ok but the icing around it we couldn’t eat it.

Lovely cake came exactly as it looks online. Great for Granddaughters Birthday party which I added M and S chocolate kittens around the bottom for extra decoration. Everyone adults and children commented on how delicious it was.

Bought for my daughter’s birthday. Shame this cake cannot be personalised. The buttercream and decoration really lovely. The sponge was a little dry, however still very tasty. Had many celebration cakes from Marks over the years, good service.

Went down a treat. Added some Spidey decorations to the top and he was very pleased. It's a deep cake so we cut large slices and halved them so the kids didn't go mad on the sugar. Great buy. Tasted delicious.

The cake was a good size and easily served 10 people. The buttercream let down the flavour of the cake, ganache would have been a better choice. The white sponge layer was really tasty.
