Lovely jumper but...
No, I don't recommend this
I didn't give this jumper the best rating because it pulls so easily. Great for the Christmas period, a bit of sparkle without being over-dressy, but I've a feeling that it will soon look tatty.

This is a lovely jumper but it seemed to grow as I wore it! The sleeves ended up half way down my hands. The knit is very loose but I could have lived with this and the tendency to catch if it hadn't stretched. Dread to think what will happen if washed. Shame really as I wanted to wear at New Year. Not at all good for the price,

This jumper was stylish enough to use as evening wear. The fit is quite generous - you could even order a size smaller. Quite long in the body and may get sloppy once washed a time or two. Otherwise a good buy..

Very Itchy

I loved the shape , the length, the style, the depth of the V neck in fact everything except the yarn which I found to be very itchy and also it was easily caught. When it arrived and I removed it from the packaging there were pulls in the yarn but as a knitter it was easy to pull through from the reverse side. Relunctantly I decided to return this item.

I thought this jumper was going to be the "one" for me this Christmas. The first one I ordered on-line arrived clicked and when I returned it to the store the assistant caught her nail on it and clicked it some more! I re-ordered it on-line and the second one was equally disappointing.

Although it took some sorting on the instore iPad, I'm glad I and they persevered. I'm a size 8s and just over 5ft and size 8s fits perfect and looks lovely. I just hope it washes well!

I found that the material of the top caught very easily, and did not consider it value for money. there were pulled threads down the sleeves, and thought the overall quality of the product was poor. Very unusual for a M and S product. Needless to say, I had to return the item to my local store. Also, I was very disappointed not to see any other, party wear tops for people of my age i.e Late seventies. I urgently request that this be put right in the future. and I am sure the clothing sales in store would increase.

Ideal for Christmas and New Year

I wanted something with a bit of sparkle to wear over the festive season and this is perfect with a black skirt or trousers. It also feels warm to wear, which is a bonus at this time of the year. The length of this sweater is flattering, too, as it's long enough to give a slim shape and not ride up as you move. In sunlight this top looks very sparkly, but appears more subdued indoors or under artificial light. Am sure I will wear this well into the new year, toned down by a big black wool scarf, so a versatile item and a good buy.

Like idea of having something glittery for Christmas Day and thought this would fit the bill. However does catch very easily especially around the cuff area which is a bit annoying. Still overall am very pleased with it.

Colour?

I returned the sweater and did not try on as the colour was not, in my opinion gold. It was very silvery. I went in store to check the gold against the silvery one and the other colour was very grey and dullish, I already had one of this colour and hoped gold for chrismas would be lovely. Disappointed!!

Had high hopes for this jumper when I saw it in the shop. No time to try it on but once home, noticed that the seams were not stitched well - lumpy, which made them stick out on the shoulders and even had some sort of holes as the knit is quite open. The V neck is a bit high and the overall shape too boxy. Shame as it would have been perfect for the festive season drink down the local!

Saw this in shop - got home and ordered on line in two sizes 14&16 as fit sometimes vary. However, 14 is true to size. Great little jumper taking you from desk to dinner with some tailored trousers or smart casual wear for ladies who lunch!!! Thanks M&S.
