Mesh Tutu A-Line Skirt

This is a really lovely skirt, perfect for the party season. Unfortunately the Twiggy range is only online so I ordered a size 12 which should have fitted my waist, but it was far too big, so it had to go back.

I ordered size 12 - my usual and liked the look of the skirt. However it was more like a 22 and wouldn't even hang on my hips. It was huge. Local stores don't stock that skirt so I had to return it as I hadn't 'a clue what size to order. Very disappointing indeed.

The swishy vintage-y cut looks fabulous on my accentuated hourglass figure, so I was very pleased with the style. Length is a couple of inches below the knee on my 5ft 3in, and the fixed waistline is true to size. It's mostly well-made, apart from the hemline, which was very wonky on the two of these I ordered. If I keep the one that fits, I will certainly need to get that sorted, as it dips very noticeably in places, and looks odd. I think this is rather expensive for a skirt made mostly from lightweight net.
