Love this cardigan, feel very classy, comfortable and warm

Bought this cardigan in the taupe colour and was so impressed I bought a second cardigan in navy. I thought it was a good fit and liked the slightly shorter length. My first cardigan is now starting to bobble a bit after quite a few wears but a garment shaver soon sorted it out. However, the navy cardigan is truly substandard. It looked smart on me when I tried it on but after only one wear it now looks really tatty. The quality of the wool is appalling. It is bobbling badly and bits stick to it all the time. Buying it was a total waste of my money. I think you need to up your game M&S. You’ve got the design ideas but need to follow through with the quality.

Wonderful material, soft and warm. The collar adds an air of dressiness. Can dress up or down. Very versatile. Perfect for all seasons.

This cardigan looked wonderful, with its jaunty collar, and felt so soft and luxurious, with the combination of merino and cashmere. Sadly, after wearing only 3 times, it looks old and scruffy! It has bobbled so quickly. Every bit of fluff or hair sticks and is difficult to shake or brush off. To be honest the synthetic M&S cardigans at half the price are much better. I'm very disappointed.

I bought this lovely looking cardigan and it was a good fit and felt cosy. However, after wearing it only about 4 times it is covered with bobbles all over. I am very disappointed and feel it was a waste of money.

I love this cardigan. It's light and warm, washed well, is a great neutral colour and is set to be a capsule wardrobe staple. Even better at the Sparks 20% off price. I am also planning to buy the blue one.

Liked the style and initial appearance, but after just one day of wear, 2 buttons fell off and the front and both sleeves were showing areas of pilling. Very poor quality for a high price.

Cardigan looked and felt good when I first put it on. However, I have worn it on only one evening and already there is considerable pilling (bobbling) where the sleeves touch the sides. Give the significant price of the item I would not expect this. It no longer looks “smart”.

I had my eye on this in the autumn but it was sold out. Very pleased MnS restocked and I managed to get a Sparks offer. I am a 12-14 and medium fits well. Could be a dad longer but looks great with high waisted wide leg trousers. The fawn colour is flattering and goes with everything. Well made. Thicker knit than I thought. The collar and buttons set it apart. Fabulous design. Tempted to get the blue.

Lovely, thick fabric. Love the collar! Works well for work, but also for cozy casual. Also, selection is limited for natural fibre without polyester or other synthetics. I hope M&S starts to make more natural fibre clothing options available.

Such a classy cardigan and I love that it’s made of pure wool. M&S has really upped its game with knitwear this season and I could easily believe this cardigan was from one of my two favourite boutiques, not M&S!
