What was supposed to be a surprise for a friend’s 80th birthday has resulted in a disappointing experience for both of us.Although the cost has been refunded the experience was spoilt.we ordered the gift in July and on 5th August we had notification it was in transit.I had confirmed Marilyn was at home on her birthday so was surprised she did not contact me to thank me.Her birthday was 6th Aug but on Aug 9th we received message to say at 0850 they were delivered to a safe location.That evening I finally had to ring my friend to see if she had received the parcel.She found it outside-nobody had knocked and there was no written notification of delivery.The rose was in poor condition and within a few days was dead. A further order of the same for delivery to another friend was received onher birthday but at about 1930 when this elderly friend does not like opening door at night.This rose was also in poor condition and also died within a few days
