Absolutely love this dress but think your picture of it on the website doesn't show it properly. It's a loose dress with no waistband. By showing it with a belt you've probably put off lots of women who would otherwise have liked the dress. Also, the yellow t-shirt is a bit misleading folded with the dress. It would have been better to use this picture to illustrate a different way to wear it. Despite all of this, the dress is fabulous and the quality of the fabric is fantastic.

I wanted a cool dress for the hot weather and this one fits the bill. It’s roomy and cool. The material is great quality - a little heavier than I would ideally like - and it does crease, but no surprise there as it’s linen (rich). Tad on the expensive side but I think it will be a favourite for years to come.

Good quality dress, little pricey but worth the money

I saw this modelled by Jan at Lovelace styling on insta. The dress shown on the website doesn’t do it justice. I ordered it after seeing it on Jan and I absolutely love it!

I don't often have a love affair with something I bought online, but this dress is an exception. It's a different shape for me - usually I go for shift dresses - but I love the shaped gathered 'waistline' (happily nowhere near my waist) and I think it's a nice style for an older woman. The fabric is a gorgeous heavy linen which I'm hoping will crease in a classy way, rather than like a dishcloth. I adore the extended shoulders, the little revere collar and the cuffed sleeve, and the length is just right on me - 5ft 3ins and a biggish size 12. I certainly wouldn't put a T-shirt underneath or wear it with a belt - those pics do the dress no favours at all. I've washing it already (it felt a bit starched) and it ironed beautifully. I haven't actually worn it to go in yet, ut I keep trying ti on and I don't want to take it off! So happy me and thank you White Stuff.

Loose but smart linen shirt dress. I wanted something smart but cool to wear with tan leather sandals. This could be worn with a belt also. I love blue stripes and think this will be useful for a few years to come.
