Linen Blend Wide Waistband Trousers

These were perfect for what was required ie great work trousers and very well finished

These are my fourth pair of this style of linen trousers, all in different colours. This pale blue is a great colour.

The returned trousers appeared to have been worn as they had a split in the seam. I have returned this item along with one other and the cost to me has been $39.10 I hope to get this postage back as the item is not as new.;

not big on size and long , but value for money, cant wait to wear them on my holiday

these trousers are a good fit except for the length they are a shade too long

Although the trouser were a good length and the waist was a good fit l found that the top of the legs were too baggy and pouched so had to return them

I agree with previous reviewers. I found these trousers to be too tight on the waist and extremely tight around the thigh. They are also too short for my liking, skimming the top of my foot (I'm 5'6 and usually order a medium length.) I won't be wearing them unless I lose about 2 stones in weight so as I've waited too long to return them, they are destined for a charity shop.

I bought size 10 straight leg trousers recently in M&S and they fitted perfectly. Saw these and a bargain price so bought them. Didn't fit and the linen quality was very itchy. Had to return them.

I ordered these in black online, having bought a brown pair in store, which are a great style and comfortable to wear. The black pair felt different immediately when I tried them on. I compared them with my brown pair - the black were a good 2 cms narrower all the way down the legs. I returned them for a refund. In the past when finding this problem, having bought a 2nd item supposedly the same as a first, I've been told that a degree of "tolerance" is allowed to manufacturers so sizing can vary between two items in same style. Personally I don't find this explanation acceptable but suppose it's a price that has to be paid to keep the cost of garments down?

I first bought 2 pairs in store, both size 12 as I usually buy, chose medium length as last years purchase of the long length were very long. Disappointed as they were too short and very tight for a 12. Ordered 14 long online, were returned as they were a good length but too baggy! Need a size 13.

The fit is not great. I usually have a 10 in M&S but that was too tight on the waist. Swapped for a 12, which was fine on waist but gaping on the hips and legs. The quality was awful though. Itchy fabric, which I thought would go once I washed them, but they were still awful. After one wear one of the seams dropped, but as I had worn and washed them I could not return them. Really disappointed with the quality.

I made the mistake of not reading the washing instructions, and I put them in the tumble drier. They shrank! Never expected to get a pair of trouser from M & S which couldn't be dried, as I've bought so many before with no problem. They are now in the recycling bin. Also, the hem came down after only wearing them a couple of times.

Lovely lightweight material and pale blue colour, good style and fit - but unfortunately I had to return them as the short length, which I usually find is fine, was just too short. It was disappointing as I usually find trousers either too wide or too narrow and these fitted well. The next length would have been too long and I didn't have time to shorten them.
