Leg size is way off

I bought a pair for hubby, and I was so happy to get a 30" waist and 33" leg (he is tall and skinny). When they arrived in the post, they are lovely, good quality, nice style, yet the leg is actually 31 and 1/4". So short they look funny. I am now debating to chop off the leg and make them into three quarter length trousers. Such a shame.

Good comfortable lightweight trousers for a foreign hot holiday. They were ideal for the temperature but wore out very quickly and have had to be disposed off after the holiday

I have purchased a few pairs of linen trousers but these ones are excellent lightweight fabric but cannot see through them when on. The fit is great, they are very comfortable and the price was fantastic as I got them in the sale but even at the normal price I would not hesitate again to buy them.

Favourite summer trousers

Not as good quality as previous years drawstring trousers but very good value for money. Best to purchase next leg length as they do shrink a bit in the leg. I had a 31l first time but purchase two more pairs in 33L to allow for shrinkagetime. Feel good to wear and look more expensive than they are. Hoping M&S go back to the better quality next year.

I purchased 38" waist and 29" inside leg. Which is the nearest to a 27"inside leg that I require. As a result whenever I purchase trousers from M&S they have to be altered at a cost of an additional £10. Please consider seriously making trousers with a 27" inside leg on all trousers I cannot be the only man with the shape and size that I am!l

Well they don't look like chinos, but they are wonderfully comfortable and light - perfect for a hot day. Someone mentioned that they are floppy - sure they are, but they are not designed to be formal. My only complaint? Not in my size in all colours - I would have had them all! I will get some for my son too.

What has happened to M&S sizing? This is the third item I have returned in the last few weeks. Nothing is the stated size. The feel of these trousers is lovely, but they are so baggy I feel like a pensioner in them (I am one but don't wish to dress like one!) and they are too short in the leg despite being the long leg size! Too short and baggy is not a good look, even for a pensioner!
