I haven’t worn them yet but they do feel very comfortable on and the material is lovely - holds well and not too much creasing as it’s a linen mix. I’d check the lengths more closely next time as I bought a previous pair of trousers earlier in the year (well jeans tbh) and I bought the petite length as the length given on the size chart said petite was my length. In fact they are a bit short but I’ll wear appropriately footwear to compensate. So I ordered the regular length for these trousers and guess what they are too long - thankfully just a hem length - but as I’m good with a needle and thread I can take them up….. which will give them a heavier hem so they will hang better . TBH it’s a good job Marks and Spencer is out there as there isn’t many other stores worth bothering with, especially for us of the older (but still young) generation 👍.

I was in two minds as to whether to take these back or not but decided to keep them in the end. The design is ok, and I liked the colour and pinstripe fabric but the material is quite thin and would definitely hang better if it was a little heavier. Sizing seems to be getting a bit strange with M&S at the moment - I usually buy trousers/jeans in a ‘long’ but these seemed longer than usual. All in all, an ok buy but I don’t love them.

Like the trousers and also bought the matching waistcoat. But feel they don’t keep much shape - go a little baggy. Better if they had a bit of stretch.

Gorgeous trousers. Material is spot on and doesn’t wrinkle up unsightly after a days wear. They’ve been very comfortable and cool during the hot weather. The ‘order by waist’ measurement is excellent.

Lightweight and roomy
Lightweight and roomy, these trousers are ok but I only bought them because I was about to have a knee operation. They do nicely for that but I don’t really like the pinstripes. I would prefer the stripes to be closer together rather than aping a London business man’s suit.

Liked these because they have a neat waist with waistband and zip fly front which fiitted me perfectly. Looks much better than a drawstring waist which can look bulky and unflattering. Good quality linen mix which is a bit heavier than pure linen so they hang well therefore a sightly smarter style. Soft blue looks good with white tee shirt,
