I love the appearance of these sandals, and I thought they would be a nice alternative to my ubiquitous Birkenstocks. However, the straps are plastic, and set at an angle that is not at all foot shaped. The fact that they are plastic means that they are totally inflexible and they cut quite deeply into both feet. Therefore, after one wear I have to throw them out.

holiday disaster!
No, I don't recommend this
So disappointed with these sandals. Not only did the straps rub my feet on the top of my foot as others have stated but once again with a flat form sandal, not enough fabric is sewn into the sole and therefore when i was walking on my night out on holiday, the strap snaps out! I was in a bit of a predicament as you can imagine. M&S you must do better with flat form sandals!

As previous reviews state the sole is far too firm . I felt that they would be hazardous and uncomfortable after walking any distance . They look nice and give me good height but returned I’m afraid .

I don't usually write reviews, but after reading about other customers reviews on these great looking sandals - I agree with everything that has been said. I bought these as soon as they came into the store. From day one they blistered my feet on the inner sides near the cross over strap. I thought that they would be alright once I had worn them in. I must have bought about 3 packs of Compeed plasters and each time I have worn them I have had to take them off due to the cuts reappearing again. My feet have pink scars on them. Making a decision today that I am never going to beable to take them on my forthcoming holiday I returned them to The Trafford Centre M&S . I explained that I couldn't wear them and the Manager Simon who I spoke to didn't doubt me one little bit. He gave me a credit note straight away for the full amount. Cannot fault Marks and Spencers excellent customer service. Although on this occasion these sandals were disappointing. Thankyou.

Please do not buy. I suffered injuries to both my feet. These are not suitable shoes - the hard leather made deep cuts across the top of both of my feet. I wrote to customer services to ask they be removed from sale . Both of my feet were infected as a result

Lovely sandals, yesterday was the first day I actually wore them, well for a few minutes. Very uncomfortable, I hope the leather will soften and they won’t be so scratchy. Would I buy them again, No. true to size, look good but wouldn’t be wear them to walk any length.

After wearing for just one hour to bed- in, I have cuts on the top of both feet from the leather crossover. The leather is far too stiff. I was hoping there would be some stretch after wear and they’d soften, but sadly none and now I can’t return them. Would not recommend which is a shame as they’re a nice style.

Look good and go with lots of outfits. Only reason for 4 star and not 5, is that the soles are quite slippery on some surfaces (E.g. tiled floor).

Returned these sandals because there wasn’t enough of a rocking action on the platform so felt like carrying bricks on the feet. Uppers are lovely and would have been perfect otherwise.

Love these!
SO comfortable, I sprayed the platforms with shoe protector to help repel the wet so I can wear them in the British rain! These beauties have made my clothes on trend again.

Lovely sandles
Lovely sandals. Only returned as they had a dent in the sole at the front by the toe which was noticeable when they where on.
