These are excellent quality loafers. I have tried a few pairs from M&S this season, but these are the only ones that are cut high enough to prevent gaping on my narrow feet. I ordered two sizes, and went down from a 6.5 to a 6. M&S shoes have often been oversized recently.

They do come up slightly big but I tried a half size down and my toes were right in the ends so too small. I’m getting some in sloes which hopefully will resolve the problem. They are well made and look classy on.

Faulty shoes
I really love these shoes but after wearing a couple of times, I noticed different coloured patches on the toes. On closer examination, the coating has peeled off both shoes in the same place. I am going to return the loafers and request another pair in the hope that it’s a one-off problem because they’re really elegant, so versatile and they fit like a glove.

Have always loved a loafer. Have bought expensive ones in the past, but never quite got on with them. These are ultra comfortable, but strangely big! I'm a size 6 and often get wide fit, but I've ended up with a size 5.5, and even then they are a bit loose, while a 5 was too tight on both length and width. Have marked them down 1 star as a result. But they are very smart, and overall I'm very pleased with them.

I really like these loafers but i do wish this style had been done in a wide fit. Buying two pairs in a different size i was perplexed, the 4 is perfect without socks (I like to wear socks with my flats). So i bought a 4 and a half perfect with socks but a bit long! I have kept the size 4 and hope to wear them in as the leather is good quality and soft enough to give. Lovely style and look far more expensive than they are.

Smart shoes which don't compromise on comfort. Look more expensive than the price too. Having 'problem' feet I have difficultly in finding smart comfortable shoes, but these are so soft I'm sure I they won"t cause any problems. So looking forward to wearing them.

The product is not true to size. I have been a size 7 since schooldays, I had to order a 6. Even six and a half was too big. The shoe looks good and the colour is really cool. Comfortable to wear, however not worn them for a long time yet. All in all very pleased and chuffed I got a size smaller.
