Chocoholic1962 A good, solid chopping board. This is a very well sized chopping board. I’m able to easily fit 8 slices of bread all at once making my pack lunch routine a breeze. It’s a solid, chunky, heavy chopping board that doesn’t travel around my kitchen worktop while I’m using it. It’s not dishwasher friendly obviously as it’s made from real blocks of wood that are pressed tightly together, but I’m able to scrub it with soap & hot water to ensure it’s immaculately clean after each use. I’m very happy with this board & totally recommend it.

Gailchristina Warped within two weeks of use I bought this a month ago and it’s warped. I had read the reviews about not submerging in water so I have wiped it and oiled it with specialist oil which cost me £11 and it’s still warped. Also it’s very rough on the top which isn’t great when you want to wipe it clean. Not worth the £45 cost and not at all up to M&S standards sadly. Just hope I can find my receipt!

Megapode Butcher's block It wss damagrd so had to be returned. The veneer was chipped. For the price I would have expected it to be totally solid wood rsther than covered in a venrer so I have not reordered.

RevCraig Very good natural wood product This is a great product but does need some care. I saw that previous reviews said that it warped and cracked in a short time. Ours did warp and showed some small cracks in the wood initially. We found that oiling the board fixed the cracking and turning it over corrected the slight warping. Otherwise the board is really great and up to the high standard we expected.

SallyB183 Nice chopping board On the whole I am pleased with my chopping board - it is attractive and substantial. It is, however, a little rough, which makes it difficult to wipe clean after use, and it was also quite dry. I think that with use it will lose some of its roughness, and I have been oiling it, which has brought out its colour as well as hydrating it. At the end of the day, the issues weren't big enough for me to want to return the board, and I am happily using it.

rubbishflowerservice1 Poor quality I have wanted a butchers block in my kitchen for years! I finally got the chance to own one and was delivered 3 weeks ago. What a disappointment @ it’s already warped. I live by myself, so not excessive use, wiped it down each time... but as it sits on my granite worktop just 3 weeks later... it is warped.

CrackersL This is a large decent board This is a heavy weight item and is certainly up to the job of being used as a butchers block. Its well made and attractive to look at. It looks great on my work surface.
