Universal Stainless Steel Steamer

Having a new induction hob fitted meant buying a whole new set of pots and pans. My old steamer pot wasn't compatible with the hob - but I really didn't want to buy another pot (for the cost and for storage purposes). This steamer was the perfect answer! It fits neatly onto each size of pot as stated and stores stacked into the biggest size pot. It's simple stainless steel styling goes perfectly with my kitchen. Easy to use and to wash - and a great buy at £12! Highly recommend this for anyone who enjoys freshly steamed vegetables!

Have been promising to buy myself one of these for years. This one is amazing value for money and I'm sure I'll get lots of use from it.

Lightweight, easy to clean, does exactly as it should drains well

I’ve always boiled my veg, but I got this steamer and vegetables just taste so much better. Fits over two size pans depending on how much you need to steam, pop a lid on, 10 minutes later beautiful veg!

Great quality steamer with versatile fitting to suit different size existing saucepans, though you’ll need your own lid. Very useful for smaller quantities. Great value.

Perfect, just what I needed. Fits my existent pans and lids and can be stored on top of one of my pans so doesn’t occupy much space in my cupboard.

I have three stainless steel pans of different capabilities and diameters, the steamer fits all of them and the lid of the largest pan sits firmly on the steamer, perfect! So far it has steamed various vegetables, organic rice. Suet pudding will be the next test of which I have no concerns whatsoever.

Regret purchasing as handles stop fitting lots of pots. Takes a very long time to steam food had cheaper lift in/out metals ones that fit any pot and steamed in record time

I bought this to replace one of the 2 steamers in an old M&S steamer saucepan as one of the welded handles had come off, rendering it impossible to use. Despite being advertised as "suitable for use with 16, 18 and 20cm pans" and our old M&S steamer being a 20cm (internal diameter) one, the universal steamer doesn't sit fully in the old pan; it's a bit wobbly. Nevertheless, it is just about usable and looks well made; the riveted handles should not come off!

Fits all of my pans perfectly, simple to use and easy to clean.

I was not happy that the steamer did not sit flush on the pan, but wobbled as I went to use it. Because of this I didn't make use of it and returned it.
