Lace Detail Plunge A-E

Read all the reviews before I ordered but thought I’d give it a go anyway. So pleased I did. This is a great looking and fitting bra. The bar at the front does need a little working out but works a dream and feels secure on. Unclip the bar from the centre out (it snaps out) then slip the two halves by lifting one cup up and one cup down. Put the bra on and reverse the process. Bought briefs to make a set. Looks great feels great and ideal under sleeveless/racerback clothing. Love the lace pattern detail on the racerback and good enough to be seen on backless or transparent clothing. It’s actually a very easy bra to put on and wear. Certainly no faults found with mine just an extremely well made bra.

My girlfriend was a bit sceptical when seeing some reviews but for her, sheI finds this bra really easy to put on and fits exactly and so comfortable. IShe love it and the lace detail at the back. Will definitely buy more. She said the front fastener is quite easy, just need to have finger and thumbs on both sides side and bend towards you (like a hinge) then just slide right side up. To fasten do the opposite to how you unfasten.

I had read all the reviews before ordering, and decided to order this bra myself as I liked the style and see for myself what all that fuss about the fastening issues actually is about. I must say I hadn't believed that there would be a product for sale which would be unwearable due to a faulty fastening and yet had been selling, obviously - which made me think of one thing only - that the problem isn't in the fastening.... It really isn't. It's similar to some swim tops' fastenings, only quite smaller. Tiny for some to see the mechanism well perhaps. But to undo the fastening both on a new bra and then while trying it on couldn't be more elegant. Yet, unfortunately, I will have to return this bra, as it's the cups that don't fit me. I ordered the same size I wear in other M&S bras but I know the fit depends on the particular bra's cut. These would need much fuller breasts than mine, in 34B - 34A would have probably (from my previous experience) too narrow cups and probably still creating a little bump and then dig into my skin above the top of the cups, rather than being flatter and continuing the line smoothly from the cups to the decolletage. This isn't a rare case, bras are wrongly cut. Mostly it's the width of the cups - how many women have their bras' wires pressing the sides of their breasts instead of contouring their very edges? Why should small breasts on a larger (in comparison) chest be as narrow as if on a smaller chest? I'm sure many women with a more sporty figure and with smaller breasts actually have them wider than the bras suggest... Manufacturers should make bras (and other clothes) for real women, not for figurines (dummies). Also, when on, the inner edges of the wires and the fastening itself sat very uncomfortably on the edge of my chest bone, pointing to my little dip at solar plexus. Wouldn't feel comfortable in that even if the cups did fit.

I had been looking for this style bra for ages, unfortunately no way could I try it on as the front fastner would not budge , I took it to pilataes with me and everyone there young and old tried to no avail . So it will be returned, Shame .

The front fastening works similarly to some of the swimwear M&S sells except you have to be more exact when locking it in place. To undo: have the bra facing you and put your fingers behind the silvery plastic and have your thumbs where the bra loops the plastic. Push the fastening towards you and it should split in half. You then need pull the left side of the fastening upwards and you can see the fastening has a thinner part that slots into the other. To fasten whilst on: bring the right side of the fastening to the top of the left side at a 90 degree angle and slide it downwards until it does not go down any further. Then push the right side forward until it clicks. Hope that helps!

Thought this bra looked nice and foolishly didn't read the reviews before I ordered it online. When I got it home I found it was impossible to open, so have not been able to try it on. Then I read the reviews, which said no-one else could open it either!!
