Son loves it just right for winter.

I really struggled to find a school coat for my 11year old at a reasonable price. He's not big for an 11 year old but needed the 13-14 year old size. The coat is great and practical. All was fine for about 2 weeks and then over a period of 4 weeks both underarm seams came apart and then both pockets inside too. Not impossible to repair just annoying and suggests the quality is not as good as you would expect. Obviously it cant be taken back because it cant be replaced as its sold out!

I have found it really difficult to buy a winter coat for my 2 boys this winter- they are either not that warm, sold out or too expensive. I bought this coat for my 9 yr old who is small for his age so I thought the 7-8 would fit. It did fit, but only just so I ended up swapping it for the 9-10 which is too long in the sleeves but I have kept anyway. This is a good warm coat & very good value for money. I do, however, agree with a previous reviewer in that we could really do with the in-between sizes eg 8-9 yrs would probably have been perfect for my son.

I ordered 5-6 for my son who is nearly 6, it would probably just fit him, I need a bigger size so it will last, the next size up is 7-8 , I think this will be too big, why isn't there a 6-7? such as shame as its a really nice coat and it looks more expensive than it is, perfect for school.
