I ordered some thermal leggings for my wife as a xmas present, upon trying on the Leggings, it was obvious that the leggings are see through, which shocked me and my wife, as we thought that M&S Leggings would be good enough quality not to be so thin, that they become see through, my wife is even thinking about returning them. regards john

I love these, this is a repeat purchase. Tried other M&S styles but these are tops - not bulky, warm, soft, comfy. I can wear them under 'jeggings', they are that thin, but they still keep me toasty. Recommend these.

More tights than leggings

Disappointed - wanted to wear as leggings but they are far too see through.. Probably lovely as tights, but I returned them as they are expensive tights. Bought the leggings at £12 - much better

The description really does need to be changed for online buying! They'd be lovely, cosy and soft under trousers/jeans but they are not leggings to be worn with a top. They are almost transparent they are so thin, even seamless nude knickers are plainly visible. They are nice and warm, very thin and soft though, although I've found that they do tend to ride up and are mid-calf before you know it. If I'd bought them to go underneath jeans I'd be very happy, but I didn't so I'm not!

Was worried these wouldn't be long enough but reached my lower ankle and I am 5'10. They are fine and soft enough to wear under even leggings and jeggins with no one knowing and without bulking you out.

disappointed yet again

am despairing of M and S quality and sizing, I am same size I have been for years and was hoping these leggings would be a replacement for earlier ones bought - not to be, the only good thing is that they are warm, but full length they are not, ending up by creeping up calf and showing over boots - thin material almost seethrough and pilling and bobbling after one wear/wash - this may be my last purchase from M and S other than bra and knicks!
