We bought this ( only difference was it has 3 draws ) for my son when he was just THREE, he is now TEN and its still solid, we have also moved home so had to re assemble the bed section, unlike most childrens beds, its still solid even after being taken down and put back together again. the draws are still perfect, bottoms and fronts still solid etc. It isnt cheap but quality isn't and this is definitely a quality set.

We are so pleased with this bed for our 3 year old son. The quality of the furniture is great. But best of all the free delivery, installation and removal of ALL packaging was amazing. Saved us hours.

Our three year old son has had this bed for about a month now he loves it. It's excellent quality and it was assembled by the M&S delivery guys in about 30 minutes. Compared to our daughters cabin bed from another leading retailer (2 months old and already broken), we wish we had had seen this bed before choosing hers as we would have opted for another one of these. Our only issue is regarding the desk. It would make sense to put some wheels on the desk if you expect kids to be able to pull it in and out.

Good quality product, looks lovely in my son's room with the matching wardrobe. Fantastic service from Marks! Most definitely worth paying that little bit extra for, when taking into consideration the things that come underneath it is really good value.

A lovely bed that feels very sturdy and well-made despite being assembled by my husband as we were unable to take advantage of the delivery man constructing it due to the room having the carpet fitted later in the day. Took a little longer than the hour predicted by the delivery man to assemble but that was mostly due to the fact that we were unable to use the power drill for fear of waking the children sleeping in the room next door! Lots of nice storage in the bed although do bear in mind that the ladder can only go on the left of the bed which may limit the placing of the bed in smaller rooms. Also although the smaller storage cupboard/desk can go in either space there is a bar across the bottom on the left side which could prevent a chair from being pulled up to it if the cupboard/desk was in the opposite orientation to shown in the picture.

Perfect solution for a 4-yr old moving to his first 'big bed' - lots of storage and space to make a den too. The delivery guys assembled it all so we only had to add the duvet and pillow and it was ready to use. Fab.

Overall we are very satisfied with this cabin bed. The delivery service was great & communication happened as they said it would. The delivery guys even called to tell me when they were a few minutes away. They were polite, tidy and efficient. The wood does mark a little easily which is a shame when you have a boisterous 5 year old throwing himself around! But overall it is a great bed with great storage and it looks good too. Our son loves it and that's a recommendation in itself!

This bed is well made and has lots of storage both under neath the bed and in the shelves at the end of the bed. Because it has a single size mattress a child or adult could sleep on it and be comfortable.

This is a lovely mid-sleeper, strong and has plenty of storage. We purchased it in white and also the Hastings wardrobe. I was pleasantly surprised that some men came and delivered the two items and also erected them in the bedroom for me! They wore covers on their shoes and laid mats by the front door to prevent any mess too. I would thoroughly recommend the bed as it is substantial and my 10 year old daughter loves it! Excellent quality - good old M&S.

I chose M&S again for children's furniture because they don't only deliver when they say they will but they also put it together for you - and also I knew from previous purchases that I would get something that was of a reasonable standard (dovetailed joints, for a start). The kids love it - the only problem being that I'm not sure how long the desk will stand up to being pulled in and out and bashed against the radiator in its function as 'lift' (they push it forward, get in, then move backwards to hide under the bed...). But it's a really practical piece of furniture - plenty of storage in a small space - and I'm hoping will last for years.

We loved this for my 4yr old daughter, then she started school and so we rearranged the sleeper to bring the desk out so she could sit at her desk and write etc. HOWEVER, M&S do NOT supply, or sell a chair which will fit the desk and we have been unable to find one. therefore rendering the desk completely useless! I called customer services at Bluewater and was very rudely told - can't you find one in IKEA?

I purchased this bed for my 7 year old daughter as her room is fairly small we needed something compact. Excellent quality and very sturdy, plus an amazing amount of storage. It was also a complete bargain as i bought from a local M&S outlet, and purchased the matching double wardrobe at the same time. My daughter loves it, it was quite easy to put together and feels like it will last a long time. If i was to be slightly picky i would say the panels should have been numbered to assist in build, although this isn't a massive issue. Overall I say if you want a quality and stylish range of furniture then buy it..you won't be disappointed.
