This is almost too special for the tree! I may use it on our mantelpiece instead. It's gorgeous quality and the velvet tie for hanging it is the perfect finish. It's worth noting that the snow and glitter just stays at the bottom - it doesn't float down when you shake it, as it would with a snow globe. But it looks beautiful so this isn't an issue for me.
