Disappointed
Originally posted on New Balance EMEA
No, I don't recommend this
Extremely disappointed with the quality control on this pair. The upper mesh on the right shoe was visibly deformed and wrinkled from the moment I opened the box, even with the internal shoe insert still inside, while the left shoe was completely fine. This wasn't a fit or storage issue; it was a manufacturing defect specific to one shoe. I tried putting my foot in briefly just to check if the wrinkling would smooth out under weight, but the deformation looked just as bad as before. For a brand known for quality, this kind of defect making it past inspection is unacceptable. Make sure to check your shoes carefully as soon as they arrive.

Not wide at all

Not at all what I hoped for. I ordered wide, the tag said wide and they did not feel wide at all. They are very uncomfortable and I don’t think I can keep trying to break them in. Pure agony for my feet after about 1/2 mile.

Not comfortable, bought these as I work in hospitality I needed a comfortable supporting shoe, however the sole on these is really hard and doesn’t have any arch support either. Very disappointing

Very Squishy
Originally posted on New Balance US
No, I don't recommend this
These are comfortable, but too ‘squishy’ for my liking. I also find the lacing to be a bit much and the laces too short. I use these for my daily walks. I need and like great support and durability. I took a chance on these, but I don’t think they’re going to stand up to my demands on them.

These running shoes look great! The soles are very cushiony and have been comfortable for walking. There have been no issues with breaking them in. I only wish there was a bit more arch support.

The name "Propel" Says it All

Between bunions, flat feet and arthritis, finding a comfortable sneaker is not always easy. I've worn the Propel for about 10 months now, and they are my favorite! Tons of support without being squishy, and they really do spring you forward. But I think my favorite feature is that the wide width version doesn't look like you're wearing a wide shoe. The roominess is there, but amazingly it doesn't look it. And TBH, most NB wides do look it, especially the Fresh Foam 800 series and up. Judging by the lack of color options, it looks like NB might be phasing the Propel out. I really hope they don't.

Difficult to find wide width running shoes that are each comfortable, supportive -and cute! I’ve been wearing for 2 months and they are retaining comfort and support. (And they’re still cute).

Nice and squishy to walk on but hurts my bunions and top of foot. Not comfortable for someone who has ball of the foot issues.
