Top tea tips

We’ve all been guilty of serving up a tea that’s either too milky and weak or strong and bitter. Follow these simple steps to ensure you brew the perfect cup every time. Always start by adding fresh water (filtered if possible) to the kettle as the higher oxygen levels provide a brighter taste come drinking. Boil your kettle and pour the water into your favourite teacup or pot. Swirl the water around carefully to warm. Place a bag (or bags if using a pot) of Luxury Gold Tea into your chosen vessel and pour over the water that's been resting for roughly 2 minutes. Allow the tea to brew for 3-5 minutes, depending on your desired strength, before removing the bag and stirring. Top with milk (dairy or plant-based), if you like, and serve immediately with your favourite biscuit or a slice of homemade old-school tea loaf with biscuit butter.
