Fondue Gift Set

Needed a new fondue set to replace one that had seen better days. This originally retailed at £49.50. After much kerfuffle having a replacement sent to our local store as the original one had parts missing, I have a functional fondue set. The forks are badly bent and blackened in the forging process but they are going into hot oil so I suppose will do. Pretty mediocre to say the least but in the end it was very cheap. MORE DISAPPOUNTED IN M&S SHUTTING DOWN OUR LOCAL STORE IN DEAL AFTER 80 YEARS ON OUR HIGH STREET. SO SAD.

Love it. Great looking set, good size, just need to set it up and use it now.

I purchased this item in the sale for a birthday gift and I have to say they were delighted with. Especially as they had just been wondering what they were going to do with all of the excess cheese from the Christmas holiday period. It was a winner as a gift.

I previously owned a le cruset fondue set. The one from marks and spencer came well packaged. However , on opening it was so light, flimsy and without the gel pack for the flame(this needs to be purchased separately) . The forks are of very poor quality, still sharp around the prongs and without any identifying markings as to which fork is which.ie colour spots on ends.It will not be suitable for meat fondue.
