My daughters bought this cake for my big birthday some time ago, so when I was charged with the task of providing a birthday cake for a special friend who asked for something unusual, I knew exactly where to go. Aesthetically this cake is absolutely stunning and is perfect for anyone who loves flowers. By it's nature it is very sweet but it was bought mainly for it's appearance. Many of the guests commented on how beautiful and unusual it was. It comes on a silver coloured board which was ideal but this is not made clear in the description. It is quite pricey but you get what you pay for.

The festival tulip cake was beautiful, very pretty design and great value for money. You’d pay way more for a cake of this standard from a baker elsewhere. We kept it out of the fridge from time of pick up and ate it around 8 hours later and it was perfect. Moist sponge and tasty buttercream. It was a big hit with the birthday girl.

The cake was decorated beautifully and made a great showpiece. It was packaged cleverly so it was easy to transport without any loss of decoration. As well as looking amazing it tasted really good too. All my guests were impressed with the cake, well done M&S!

This cake is every bit as beautiful as it looks in the photos. I bought it for my daughter's 30th birthday party in June and was so happy to have chosen it. She couldn't believe it when we opened the box and literally everyone said wow when they saw it. The taste was absolutely delicious. A truly special cake for a special occasion.
