I bought this product due to the hype surrounding Murad and generally positive reviews of the brand's products. However, the morning after using it, I woke up with burned, very tight skin, bright red blotches and a rash all over my face and neck. My skin was painful to the touch. My skin did not calm down during the day, and in the evening my eyes swelled up. I woke up in the night struggling to breath, feeling like my skin was on fire. My eyes were closing up due to the swelling and I was struggling to see out of them. After seeing a doctor I was given steroids and anti-histamines to try to bring the swelling, redness, and itching down. I was diagnosed with a severe allergic reaction and with contact dermatitis. I am horrified at what has happened. I have never had an allergic reaction to any facial product. I am aware that certain products and ingredients can be harsher on the skin, but this was extreme. 36 hours after using the product and after medical intervention I am still swollen around my eyes. My skin is still painful. It will take days for the swelling and redness to go down, and the doctor expects my skin to peel. The dermatitis is ugly and painful. I am concerned about the damage that has been done to my skin. I am very concerned about this product and I will never again buy Murad. I would not recommend this product.

Unfortunately until I looked up the ingredients I didn’t know this product contains microplastics which end up in our rivers and oceans after being washed down our drains. Britain has some of the worst microplastic pollution and it’s mostly due to these brands not clearing up their products.

I bought this product last week and I started to use it every morning and evening basically 2 times a day. It has irritated my skin so badly. I' ve never been like this before. All of my face has a lot of red spots and they hurt as well and I've never had acne or any kind of skin problem before. I was so dissappointed for this result because I was really excited before I bought it. It was my first time with this brand and I don't think I will try any other product of them.
