I’m a big fan of the range and the description sounded perfect. I love lavender and I’m a big fan of a cleansing balm. But I was so disappointed. There’s no lavender scent at all in fact it had a strong lemon smell. It also doesn’t emulsify so I felt it left a slightly oily film on my skin. I know lots of people love this product but I won’t be buying it again.

Wow it’s fab , the scent is amazing and is a great added bonus to the cleansing routine , good price compared to many . It makes my skin so smooth , removing all my makeup and you only need a small amount

Such a beautiful cleanser. Smells amazing and calm. The balm is fantastic at removing make up and is always stunning as a straight forward cleanse. The hot towel over the face feels so spa like. I can’t recommend it enough. And the tins as so useful after they are empty.

Smooth, rich texture and ‘spa’ like smell. Feels special and cleanses well. Washes off easily but always follow up with toner to remove any residue. Compares well on quality/value with some more expensive brands of cleansing balms which are definitely more luxurious but outrageously overpriced. Would have given five stars but the container was dented and damaged. Luckily it was not for a gift for anyone but myself and the contents remained intact.

I have been using this for a week now and I really like it. I know the fragrance is not important in terms of benefit but I can relate the aroma to a salon facial and that made me feel good. My skin feels thoroughly cleansed and fresh after using. I use the cleanser with Pai organic muslin face cloths (Amazon) for gentle cleansing and exfoliation. You don’t need to use much of the butter so it should last well and therefore good value for money. I will definitely be continuing with this cleansing butter.
