Have purchased this pure facial wash many times over the years, use in in the shower. Used to be £5 and shocked when last purchased it was £10! It does last quite a long time and is gentle on my face, does not dry out my skin and smells lovely. Bought this time when 20% off. Great product and handy when travelling.

Caused me to breakout
No, I don't recommend this
I used and loved the old formula but the new formula made me break out. Having cross checked the two ingredients lists I believe this is due to the addition of tocopherol and/or glycine soja oil. Be warned if you are prone to breakouts from oil in skincare products. Why did you change a great product M&S?

Double the price? Worth it?
No, I don't recommend this
I used the previous Pure face wash for a long time until it was discontinued; I understand this is its replacement, at double the price and a less attractive package, not that the latter is of utmost importance. The doubling of the price is important and I cannot see where that is justified. The new version is acceptable in itself apart from the price hike. I have read that M &S justify it because it supposedly has better ingredients; not sure about that, certainly not noticeable difference for me.
