Lovely dress concerned about warning label
Lovely dress. A little on the large size and fabric thicker than I expected. I’m just a bit concerned about the label saying “Avoid contact with any light color garments or upholstery”. I wonder if anyone has had any problems with this?

Always wanted a denim dress and this fitted the bill. Just one problem the elastic in the sleeves was too tight. I am either going to try and stretch them or take out the elastic. Anyway still happy with my purchase. Great quality and good weight suit hangs really well.

This dress is comfortable and fits perfectly. Looks great and is great to wear. Can be casual wear or for a casual evening out. Just love it and will wear it lots. Good for holidays as well. Really pleased with this.

Easy to wear
Great dress, easy to wear, love the dropped waist , better for my figure not being right at the waist. Feels very comfortable, full skirt but will get used to it. Haven’t washed it yet , but no reason to believe it won’t be up to usual MandS standard. Great for cooler summer days and autumn.

Has potential
Bought as casual day dress. I’m a size 8, but ordered a size 6 because photos showed it to be unshaped. It’s baggy around the waist but I plan to keep it and have it altered to make the waist pinch in slightly

A bit heavy for a summer dress but the main problem is the sizing, I have the white dress which is very similar in a size 16 so when I ordered the denim dress I ordered a 14 because the 16 wasn’t available, when I tried it on it was huge, I probably could have got a size 10 it was that big surely these dresses should be the same in size

Lovely dress that looks great. My only criticism is the keyhole fastening at the back, which is difficult to do up. A longer loop or an easier fastening would make it much more practical.

Love the design of this denim drop waist dress. The denim is of a good quality, and quite thick, so suitable to wear in cooler weather. The button and loop fastening is quite difficult to manage on your own. I would have preferred the puff sleeves too be elbow length. I like the neckline, and it was good to have a choice of lengths.

No, I don't recommend this
Sadly, this denim dress had to be returned. For a start, the denim is pretty thick and heavy. Secondly, unless one is tall and super slim, it's not flattering. I'm 5'2" and usually a size 8, so am quite petite. This dress made me look like a denim sausage. It wasn't flattering at all, so it went straight back.

I am normally a size 12 but the dress was a little tight around the bust, so I returned and ordered the size 14 which gave a little more room and looks fab. The material is quite heavy, so not comfortable in the extreme heat but on a cooler day it is just great. I am 5ft 6 and it comes down to my knees. Skins over any bulges and is really very flattering when on
