Product code: T838663L
About this style
This elegant crepe dress from Ghost is a timeless classic for day or evening. It's made in a regular fit, with a soft, open collar, a v-neckline and darts under the bust for shaping. Covered buttons run down the front, fastening with loops for a vintage-inspired touch. A matching fabric belt cinches the waist, while gathered shoulders add subtle volume to the long, cuffless sleeves. The flared midi-length skirt is complete with a shallow central split for ease of movement.

Smart from a distance, but practical issues
No, I don't recommend this
I bought this dress as I have an important presentation coming up and want to look smart. The dress is ok when on, although quite a faff as the ‘way in’ is via the many many small fabric-covered buttons and loops down the front, very fiddly. The dress is unlined, so to avoid it being too clingy, I had to get an old-fashioned “slip” to wear underneath. The biggest problem though was that the dress’s belt (which on delivery was attached to the dress with plastic ties) was obviously for a dress many sizes smaller - it was smaller than [2x] the width of the fabric of the dress. Trying to find a replacement belt now, but the slightly purple tinge to the dress’s navy fabric is making this v difficult. All in all, a weird bunch of issues, seems the item was not thought-through from any practical perspective.
