Slightly retro style- Love the soft cotton/linen fabric, the muted tones and faint checked pattern, the big pockets, and the fit- loose without the belt, or more fitted with the belt. Also, comes with a removable 'petticote'- a bonus! A bargain in the sale as well.

Great style and quality BUT ' choose your normal size' - again a problem for me. Would have been ok for me without the back pleat, but hung like a tent! Pity.

Initially I thought this dress a bit frumpy, but is actually very versatile, looks good unbuttoned over white jeans ( no underskirt! ). Keep the waist cinched tight, long sash is perfect for this, or a wide belt.

This is a beautifully made dress the fabric is a perfect mix of cotton and linen with a nice texture and the separate slip is a lovely touch. It looks attractive without the belt for a loose fit with stylish big pockets but it also looks great with the belt for a less floaty look. It will be very useful as it can be worn with or without a T-shirt or shirt, dressed up or down.

No, I don't recommend this
Very disappointed, the front placket was stitched out of line at the upper front. The separate underskirt was made from woven fabric , too rigid for the dress style. Had to return

This dress is a dream dress as it is beautifully cut and sits perfectly on the shoulders. It hangs well and looks much better on than in the M&S photographs. You can dress it up or down and takes colour well.
