Cotton Braces Boys Shorts with Stretch (3 Months - 5 Years)

I love this collection and really hope they sign up to do another one, but I think this piece is not quite right. Contrary to what the website description says, the size 4-5 DOES include braces. This is unfortunate because braces which might look cute on a one year old look very odd on a three, four or five year old. They also keep annoyingly falling off the shoulders, even if you choose the higher button of the two. I had assumed one could remove the braces and just wear the shorts by themselves, but there's nothing else to hold them up. What they need is the same adjustable elastication at the waist that the full length chinos have. It's a real shame because the shorts are a very unusual colour, unlike anything else in the M&S range, and it would be nice to have wearable shorts to complement the shirts in this collection.
