I ordered this cake for my mumās 70th birthday. The ordering process was simple and the price was very reasonable. I received an email to say the cake was ready to collect with a collection code, and I collected from store which was so simple and convenient. The cake looked beautiful and was well packaged with information on how to store it to keep it fresh. We easily got 16 slices out of the cake, it was tall and there was plenty to go around. The cake tasted beautiful. It was a real hit and the birthday girl was over the moon! I ordered cake 4 years ago for my wedding and was as happy then as I was this time. I will certainly be ordering more cakes from M&S.

This cake looks good but itās horribly sweet and the texture is weird. I used to be able to get a lovely M&S cake for Ā£8 which everyone liked and now this for Ā£18 took a week to finish.

I brought this for a celebration for my husbands 60th birthday. It was lovely and moist and was thoroughly enjoyed by all. It lasted well after the event too when there were a few slices left. Not sure why there were slices left as it was so scrummy!! Iād certainly recommend this
