An intense, supple and complex red wine, with notes of ripe red berries, plum, dark chocolate and a touch of smoke. Made using Malbec grapes grown in the Mendoza region of Argentina. Goes well with grilled meats, especially Argentine asado, roasted lamb, hearty stews, and mature cheeses. It also complements rich pasta dishes with tomato-based sauces or mushrooms.

About this bottle: From Argentina’s long established Mendoza region, this classic style of Malbec is juicy and smooth with lovely black and red fruits and hints of mint and spices. The wine is aged in oak for 12 months for complexity. The dry, desert climate produces a soft, full bodied wine with great balance between fruit and oak flavours.
