Christmas Fair Isle Bedding Set

Snapped this up when it was in the homewares sale at a great value price...I'm not a Christmas obsessive but we have a dark red theme in our bedroom and there is very little suitable bedding on the market. It's an attractive, vibrant pattern of reindeer and stars in white on the deep red base and on the reverse there are smaller stars and patterns so you could always turn it over if not feeling Christmassy! I've washed it before use as the fabric felt rather stiff and it doesn't seem much different now, so it will be interesting to see if it softens up with time. On the plus side it doesn't need a lot of ironing!

After reading other reviews I was concerned the king size would be too big for my duvet, but after washing before putting on I found it to be just the right size for my duvet . I also bought the redcurrant colour towels for my ensuite and it all looks very warm and cosy for the winter .

Very festive print. The material originally felt quiter harsh but did soften a little once washed.

I bought the king size for my king size duvet. It was about a foot to long and a foot too wide. Looked ridiculous so took it back. Shame. What on earth has gone wrong with the sizing?

I purchased this for my guest room thinking it would look inviting but it has to be one of the hardest duvet covers I have ever purchased from M&S. Although it looks cheery it is a tough cotton and no better after a wash with fabric softener.

Much heavier than a summer fabric, so really perfect for the Winter, which suits the pattern. Rich and lovely-looking.
