Cake was delicious, but had obviously not been handled well by M&S delivery or store collected from as had moved along cake board leaving a cake trail which I had to cover with fruit. Last time I order from M&S staff most unhelpful and said on pick “Well it’s your cake now”!

Had this cake for a family get together. Everyone said how delicious it was. I had read some reviews saying that the icing was a bit thin. It is a naked cake so I added some extra buttercream icing to the top and sides. Please M&S could you do a gluten free version!

Bought this cake for our wedding (quite a small wedding) alongside the vanilla cake. We had the vanilla on display and this one in the back for extra slices. It went down very well and the guests loved it. It tasted soo nice!

I'm glad I chose this after reading the good reviews. We wanted a plain cake to decorate for our son's 4th birthday party. I would say that 24 party servings was about right - perhaps a little more. The cake was tasty, with a light, moist sponge. It also lasted well, as I finished the last slice 3 days later and it was still excellent. I would buy this again.
