I bought this chocolate cake for a birthday party. I put buttercream icing on the side but left the top which was already generously covered. I then decorated the top with figures I’d made from fondant icing. It was an enormous success at my granddaughter’s party. The cake cut easily and fed twenty with plenty to spare. It would have easily served thirty. The cake was absolutely delicious; very moist and light. I recommend the cake wholeheartedly.
