Picture on line shows colour as being more vibrant. Took bigger six 14 - normal a 12. Not best shape and made me look like a cube. Material not so good either

I have been looking at this one for ages, I have a couple in the same shift dress style, i find it so flattering, covers my tum. Material is very soft and I assume the one will wear as well as the others so I am happy.

A good looking dress in a beautiful soft fabric. My only criticism is that it is a little short. I know it says it is a mini but for someone tall like me one could reveal more than on should. Fine teamed with leggings.

Lightweight yet warm and cosy, comfortable fit without being baggy. Haven't washed it yet. Only improvement would be pockets - but I like pockets in everything.

I liked the look of this but it didn't look quite the same on me.. I felt like a sack of potatoes! I ordered my usual size but it looked too big on and wasn't at all flattering. Perhaps I should have ordered a smaller size.

I was very pleasantly surprised by the material of this dress as it was slightly thinner and more pliable than I expected making it extremely comfortable and easy to wear. It skims in a flattering way over my rather too large tummy, is a good length and excellent sleeve length too. Many more dresses like this one please M&S.

Cosy new dress

Love this dress great fit and so cosy. Looks good with opaque black tights and black ankle boots. Good quality fabric cannot be tumble dryed but hung on hanger after being washed and looks like new again. Great value for money have now bought in grey and black colour in same style. Red and black in same design within M&S curve range would love this colour in my size.

I'm tall (5'11) so I didn't expect the dress to reach all the way to my knees but I did expect it to reach further than just below my bum! It was too short for even casual-wear let alone suitable for an office environment. I like the colours and check-print but aside from the disappointing length I didn't find the fit particularly flattering.

I tried this based on other people's reviews and I'm not disappointed. The fabric is soft, warm and comfortable and it fits perfectly. It hangs so well it hides my tummy which is even better. I'm not usually a dress/skirt person but I love the look I can achieve with this dress. I'm a bit wary, as was another reviewer, about whether the fabric might pill, but only time will tell.

I like the dress, but came up as a mini length on me, well above knees, not knee length as advertised. I ordered the other similar dress at same time- grey with black grid patter. Same style but significantly longer, just over the knee. If this pink and black checked dress had been longer, I would have kept this one instead.

I really like this dress but it wasn’t available in a size 14 so I ordered the 12 hoping it might fit me however it was too small so reluctantly I had to return it. If it had fit me I would definitely have kept it
