Excellent sturdy attractive lamp.

I am pleased with this lamp because it seems to be high quality and has a sturdy base with enough weight. It is superior to other metal lamps which I have tried. The specifications say “dimmable” and, like other lamps, I was expecting the dimmer function to be incorporated within the lamp itself or the switch. I can only assume that the word “dimmable” has been used to indicate that it could be plugged into a dimmer plug. This is confusing. I telephoned Customer Service to clarify and spoke with someone who had no knowledge of the product whatsoever. She promised to call me back but, perhaps unsurprisingly, she did not. Overall, a good purchase which I would recommend.
