Bonded Fabric Cap Sleeve Shift Dress

Lovely very heavy fabric, super length. Why are so many of your dresses above the knee and sleeveless. Check out Lorraine Kelly on her show. Every day she wears something amazing with sleeves and never too short.

As a long term user of M & S products (particularly clothes/furniture) I am occasionally surprised to hear that the clothing range is not selling as well as expected. The models you are using are really doing nothing to make me want to purchase and this is a prime example (my husband is of the same opinion...+ see the guy modelling male suits...does n't even seem to fit him and his 'body language' is awful!) I hope that you will see this as helpful feedback from a long term customer.

Sorry M and S material on this dress is awful. Ordered on line and as soon as I felt the material I did not even get if off the hanger.

Looked terrible, needed to be a lot taller to carry it off. To shorten it to fit would have ruined the style

So excited when I saw this dress - really great length and thick material solid black. So good to see a long dress - there are so few. However, really hard to get into the dress and sadly the cut is not good once on. I tried a smaller size but he same applied to the fit sadly. Please do stock more dresses in this flattering length - it is just great.

The dress felt very constricting not a relaxed loose fit

The fit of this dress spoilt it completely, it gaped at the armholes, was tight on the hips and very baggy around the top, plus getting in and out of it was the hardest thing despite the zip on the shoulder which was of no use! The quality of the material was good, albeit very thick but if it had been loose fitting as the description suggests it would have been a lovely wardrobe piece, unfortunately it didn't live up to expectation and I have returned it.

Saw this dress and thought I must have it!!Ordered two and neither fitted properly.....properly being the operative word.Sizing is too big everywhere and the fabric is too thick.Baggy armholes and no fluidity in fabric.Such a shame had to return both.Nothing like photos.

I am pleased to find a long length dress that fits comfortably. The style is beautiful and the quality is excellent, Can wear at the end of summer/early autumn. Can't wait to wear it soon.

Very disappointed. From the photo and description this dress appears to have cap sleeves, it does not it has cut away armholes. No where in the description does say that there is a zip on the shoulder. Mostly disappointed with the material, the dress is quite heavy. Not for me.

It's made of an extremely heavy fabric which given that it's short sleeved would make it far too hot to wear in warm weather. The only fastening is at the shoulder, presumably to give you enough room to get your head in. It's a straight up and down column and not particularly loose, so on my pear shaped figure it clung at the hips. Probably for a different body shape to mine.
