Bought deep fit for mattress of same size. Fabric same on both sides of cover, and so far no sign of any friction against the mattress itself. Previous covers with polyester backing have torn the mattress and aged it. Cover is very good quality, not cheap but if it protects an expensive mattress then it's worth it.
