A-Line Midi Skirt

Initially liked the skirt, lovely colour and it seemed to fit well. However, on viewing from the side, noticed that the zip would not lie flat. Sorry, but at £35, I shall be returning the garment. Unfortunately, there seems to be a very limited choice of classic-style skirts I M&S any more!

I like this skirt very much. Although it was not elasticated waist as stated I actually preferred it with the fixed waistband and zip. The zip on the one I received lay completely flat and I found the style, colour, material and flare very flattering. A perfect size 12 and a decent length which can be worn with boots or heels and a nice change to have camel shade (rather than blue or black) and it looks particularly nice with the leopard print jumper I purchased last year.

Such a shame. I've been looking for a camel midi skirt for ages, the fit was awful, too much fabric and did not sit very well from the hips. The skirt would have been better with darts giving it some shape. I liked the waist and zip as it fitted round my waist perfectly. But due to the shape will be returning the skirt. Can we have some more fitted skirts please M&S especially for spring.

Once again a skirt that is too short for me. I have seen this comment many times so when are you going to take notice of your customers M&S, no wonder that your sales have declined. You can always shorten a skirt or trousers but not lengthen them unless that have deep hems on then and that will not happen. Cannot say that this skirt appealed to me even if the length had been OK.

This skirt is a lovely navy, fits extremely well the material is good although unlined which I believe it could be for the price.

It is a shame it is not as described on line. On line it says it has an elasticated waist, which it does, but it also has a zip which is not mentioned in the description, Also, as so often happens with your skirts once you have undone the zip for the first time it is impossible to do it up again.

I ordered this online and while I was waiting for delivery, I saw the other reviews start to come in. I agree, the zip is awkward and doesn’t sit well with the fullness of the skirt. Also, while it states it is a midi length, it is slightly longer and sits between ankle and shin. It’s a shame as I really liked the colour. I will be returning this tomorrow.

Too full in the skirt and too deep a waistband. Would like to see a navy blue midi skirt suitable for office work. Preferably A line but not too full a skirt this had too much material.

When I saw this on line I immediately ordered both colours as it is a style I like and suits me. It has a zip, which I did not see at first, so put it on over my head. I ordered my normal size 14 but should have chosen a larger size. The material is stiff and not at all flattering. So disappointing. I so much wanted to like this skirt.

Disappointed, the zip fastener stitching puckers when wearing the garment. I bought 2 of these skirts one camel colour and one navy. I have Worn the camel colour skirt and not happy with garments zip seams nor the fabric. The fabric does not flow, it is stiff. So will be returning the navy skirt for a refund.

Stated elasticated waist, but the skirt has a zip and button fastening. What really disappoints is that the zip makes the fabric stick out. Very poorly designed, how did this make it past the sample stage. Loved the colour and fabric, please makes this as stated with a pull on style

Nice plain coloured A-line skirt just what I have been looking for for ages. At 5'1 it is longer than I would like - please note M&S one length does not fit all. Please go back to actual lengths ie 27", 29" etc. Actual lengths fit a lot more people.

Regular is too short on me (5'7) Such a pity- will have to return it

Despite the product information saying that this has an elasticated waist it is in fact made with a zip ( that does not even lie flat) Sizing rather skimpy and did not sit well around the waistline. The "regular" length on the one I received was 33" - any reason you cannot just tell us the length M&S ?. Most unflattering on as it is very lampshade shaped.
