I bought these men's cushioned socks because I have a large size 8 foot and peripheral neuropathy that can be unbearable and makes the softest slippers feel like sandpaper. These work well to put distance between my tender sole and the inside of my trainers, which are a bit rough. They are big enough not to feel tight and constricting.
