First pair and I loved them.

I bought them just over a month ago before a hiking trip to a Washington State. No need to break them in. Put them in- it they were amazing. Felt confident and secure on the terrain and sometime it was wet and slushy.

I just hiked mount olympus in these shoes! Great balance and grip to help me navigate the loose rock. The no tie laces are helpful for keeping them tight and reliable. Very happy with my purchase.

Comfortable, easy to break in and great for hiking

Bought these as really wanted a decent and light hiking shoe as I am not someone who hikes in the autumn/winter months. This feels more comfortable than my usual (running shoes) and definitely 10x lighter than my hiking boots. I didn't even break them in and instead did a 16km hike with them first thing, they were great, zero pain/blisters etc.

Year over year this is my go-to daily wear. I have probably owned 30+ pairs of these shoes I love the speed lace. The fit and wear are top notch. My only "wish" PLEASE, BRING BACK THE COLOR RED!

These are my second pair. I use them for walking in the neighborhood, and hiking in the mountains. They are lightweight yet cushion and support my feet. I have a rather narrow foot and wear a women's size 10.5.

I am a size 9, but always size up to 91/2. I ordered them in 1/2 size and was too big. The size 9 fits perfect!

I absolutely love these shoes! I have been wearing this style for numerous years for everything I do throughout the day. Many miles are accumulated per pair. They provide both arch support and heel stability along with comfortable padding. There are no irritating rubbing seams anywhere. The color schemes keep things interesting! :)

I've ordered a Sun Baked / Fresh Salmon / Prairie Sunset color pair. It turned out to be much more vibrant, orange, and somehow(??) pink. I wouldn't have ordered them if I knew what color they would actually be.

No, I don't recommend this
I have many pairs of salomon runners, these are so much wider than the rest. I can't wear them.

I bought this for an October hike and it was a wonderful shoe! I didn't have to break it in at all, and got no blisters over a 2.5 hour, 2.9 mile, over 2500 feet of elevation.

Good for scrambling

I use these shoes for hiking and approaches for climbing. They are sturdy enough to scramble across talus fields, but light enough to clip to my harness on a multipitch climb.

Warranty invalidated by use in Urban areas
Originally posted on salomon.com
No, I don't recommend this
Within 8 months of light use walking around the neighborhood, holes developed (materials separated) in both shoes on the outside of the shoes by the toes (the area where the shoes bend). Warranty claim denied as "regular use on hard, flat surfaces, which is outside the intended use of this model". Don't buy these shoes unless you want to buy more shoes in 6 month. Planned obsolescence. If it cant handle light neighborhood walks, how is it actually going to handle trail running?
