After only 2 months of light use, the shoelaces started to saw itself through the eyes. According to a salesman this is a recurring problem due to the material of the laces, which is very strong, but too abrasive.

I used the Ultra 4 for a couple years. They're not like any shoe I've ever owned. I travel all over the world and can wear a shoe to death. What I find most fascinating is the shoe grip... or maybe feel. It's like being barefoot with a shoe on. The grip is great. They're so light, it feels like the box is empty when they arrive. But after a while, it's hard to wear anything else. I bought a pair for my daughter and she's been a Salomon fan ever since. The only other Salomon product I've ever had were ski boots. Loved those too.

I bought these sneakers as a gift for my boyfriend, and they turned out to be perfect. The sizing was spot-on, true to the fit, and he said they felt super comfortable and lightweight from the moment he put them on. I got them for him because he had an upcoming trip to do the Machu Picchu trek in Peru, and he told me they were absolutely the best shoes he could’ve taken. Against all odds—rain, sun, and tons of mud—his feet stayed dry and comfortable the entire time. He never experienced any pain or discomfort. Highly, highly recommend these sneakers!

I found these to be really comfortable and great for every day wear. I think the Gore Tex hinders breathability in particularly hot weather but not to the point where they were uncomfortable. I was in love, until after having them for just 10 weeks in I noticed some of the fabric starting to tear away on both shoes. I’ve only used them for walking around cities, no running, no challenging weather conditions, so this was particularly disappointing. For the price point I’d appreciate a more durable shoe and will shop elsewhere for my next pair!

I bought these about a month ago. I bought an earlier version of this model about three years ago and have just about worn the soles smooth. I had no problems whatsoever. I’m sold on the lacing system which was new to me at the time. The Goretex held up well. They were great, and this latest rendition seems just as well made. The sizing on all the Solomons I’ve owned has been outstanding, very comfortable after a short break-in. (I hiked the Camino de Santiago in a pair of Salomon boots and was blister-free.) The sole grip is excellent. I trust Salomon.

Extremely comfortable! I work outdoors and walk/hike up to 10 miles a day. They are way better than my old boots. My only dislike is the cheaply made self lacing system. With it was better quality and looked nicer.

I’ve had these six weeks, they have performed exactly as I expect having worn Salomon for years. Perfect fit, great for general wearing and exceptional for country and hull walking.

My fifth pair of Solomon trail shoes, I purchased these for an extended trip this summer where I need comfort, support and water proofing. I've been wearing them the past several weeks getting them broken in and they are everything I expected.

This is my second pair of Solomon trainers, I probably wouldn't buy any other make ,just built for comfort

The shoe is tight on the sides, I am having blisters on my pinky toes everything I walk more than 30 minutes. The shoelace snapped after two weeks of using it.

Very comfortable. From dirt trails upstate NY to the desert in Nevada. These Solomons did what was expected. They're also comfortable walking on cement.

I walked the Camino de Santiago in these shoes and never got one blister. That’s 800km over one month. They were so comfortable I cannot recommend them enough!
