Velvet Dress (3-16 Years)

My granddaughter was very happy with this dress for Xmas

This a a christmas present for a young relative, so she has not got it yet. I thought it was well made, good colour and value for money. Hope she likes it as much as I do!

Can not confirm fit etc., as this is a Christmas gift. Well pleased with how this item feels, definitely has a richness about it and I think the shape will be exciting for a little girl to wear.

I loved the look of this dress and thought it would be perfect for my granddaughter aged 11. However, when she tried it on I could see she was not impressed and did not like the feel of the inside material of the dress. I completely forgot that at the age of 11 she now has her own ideas on her style and I completely respect that so I shall be returning the dress. It would probably be ideal for another 11 year old because it feels and looks lovely.

Bought this dress in Royal Blue Velvet for my grand-daughter, aged 7 years. It has a small silver pattern and long sleeves. She is tall and I think this style will suit her very well. I have bought it for her birthday. It is washable and surprisingly inexpensive for such a good quality dress. I ordered the dress at the counter as the size required was unavailable. I arranged for it to be delivered to a M & S shop in Sunderland which is nearer my home. I received an email informing me that my order was available after 12 noon. I collected my order and am very pleased with my purchase.

This item was a beautiful long sleeved rich looking dress. The fit was beautiful and it hung well . Well worth its price. So pleased with this item will be a lovely gift.

I have bought these two dresses for a present for my granddaughters , so as yet they have not tried them so I am basing the fit on the Lilac version which they both love. The blue colour is lovely and will be excellent for Christmas parties. The quality of the fabric is very good.

I bought this for my 13-yr-old grand-daughter but unfortunately, because the sleeves were at least 4 inches too long I had to return it. I do wish M & S sizes were more reliable.

Bought the blue velvet dress. Got it in a bigger size and fits perfectly. Its a lovely dress for any occasions

I bought the navy version for my granddaughter and she loved it The dots on the fabric, whilst all the same, seem to alternate in colour between white and silver depending from which angle the fabric is viewed, which gives a nice effect. The only negative I had was that I felt it was a bit thin given that it is a new item which came in for the winter

The lavender dress was so soft and pretty for a birthday gift, the family bought the dark blue as well for their daughter. She is tall for age seven so I bought the size 8-9 and it’s perfect, with a little room to spare. The fabric is very soft and she loves the sparkles. Very pretty. Highly recommended and excellent, super- delivery. Thank you M&S.

I have a very, very tall 11 year old daughter and was struggling to find an appropriate but pretty frock for her to wear. I bought the navy version of this in size 15-16 and it was just perfect. Not sure that calling it navy describes it well enough though. It's quite a magical colour due to the nature of the fabric and the metallic embellishment gave the impression of a beautiful starry sky. My daughter loves it and twirls about the house wearing it. Really pleased with this item.

This dress was one of 3 dresses I purchased for my 3 year old granddaughter. I got this in the blue it looks fabulous on her great fit. She likes pink but loves this dress. Great for parties or days out can be worn with both shoes or boots.
