Great work dress, really practical, stylish and chic with nice quality material. However the size 8 totally swamped me at the top, spoiling the overall look. It was definitely designed for a 'bustier' person!

I bought this dress in the sale and read the reviews before purchasing which said the sleeves were tight but I did ignore the warnings because I liked the design, the dress was a perfect fit but the sleeves are extremely tight which is such a shame, but I've decided to keep it as I'm hoping it will give once I wear it.

Whilst I had doubts about this dress when I ordered it, I'm afraid that it just didn't do it for me. The size was very unforgiving and I felt it made me look squat rather than the elegant look I had hoped for.

purchased in the sale so great value, quite a tight fit but thats how body con dresses are, very slimming !!! only downside is sleeves are tight , but next size would have made body part bigger , quite thick material so more likely to wear in winter with boots .

Bought this online and stupidly removed the tags without trying on because it was M&S and I felt sure it would be fine. It's far too tight and uncomfortable. I might, if I try really hard, be able to do it up but I'm scared I'll not get it unzipped and definitely will find it too uncomfortable to wear all day. Wish I'd read the reviews first and gone up a size as it's a stunning dress and very good quality.

Too big on the top, too long on the length, too tight on the sleeve and arrived with the security tag still on. Turned to shop, where on entering the tag did not set off the alarm. So many things wrong with this item M&S.

Dress looks very nice on model in picture however the size 10 proved big around the lower back but the sleeves were very snug. It would be really helpful if M and S could disclose the size of dress the model is wearing and the height of the model wearing it. The dress is more white and black when you see it for real rather than the more subtle effect in the web photo. Sent it back due to fit and zebra effect being more pronounced than I was expecting/hoping.

This is a lovely dress, very classic and flattering in design however very heavy and thick material. I can't imagine it would be too comfortable to wear for a long party where it was warm or you wanted to dance! It fits well and it figure hugging and despite the busy pattern it does slightly slim you down.
